You may want to google some VFR solutions for Resolve.
Resolve expects a constant frame rate (tough for game captures), but this has no relation to bit rate. Also, bit rate and frame rate are not the same thing. Check your project settings to ensure you’re on the right frame rate before editing, as it can’t be changed once a clip is on the timeline. If you’re doing a lot of editing, you’ll want to generate optimized media, such as ProRes, otherwise cut the original clip.
